Chicago Illinois Relocation
February 14th, 2007
If you’re considering relocating to the Chicago area, one village you definitely need to do some homework on is Orland Park, IL. A new website has been developed about Orland Park Real Estate. This site allows you to search the full Northern Illinois MLS to see every single property currently available for sale in the entire Chicagoland area.
Orland Park was recently voted as the 45th best place to live in the United States. Orland Park currently has a population of 55,500, which is one of the smaller populations among the Top 100 cities mentioned. The average price of an Orland
Park single family home in 2006 was $422,090. Orland Park does have first-time buyer prices up to expensive dream homes. There is also a great selection of condos available.
Although this is a new website, there are feature pages on two other very popular towns surrounding Orland Park. Tinley Park IL Real Estate sells at a lower average price than Orland Park. The average sale price in 2006 was $306,121. Tinley Park also offers a wide selection of single family residences and condo/townhomes.
A third popular area that is even more affordable is Oak Forest IL real estate. The average sale price in this city is $251,514 and it also offers a great selection of properties.
All three of these southwest suburbs have train stops to downtown Chicago for convenient access for those that work downtown and/or want to go to the city for fun. Orland Park is like a little downtown in itself since it has all the big name restaurants and shops which are minutes away from Tinley Park and Oak Forest.
If you would like more information on these towns let Joe know so he can send your information to Judy Orr, a Chicago area REALTOR® with 24 years of experience.
