Kennewick, Wa - Kadlec Medical Center today donated 10 computers and additional equipment to the Kiona-Benton School District. Kadlec has a regular schedule, about every 4-5 years, for replacing computers in operation throughout the hospital. While the computers are no longer optimal for the clinical and hospital setting at Kadlec, they do have usefulness for the school district in their computer training.

“We’re happy to be able to assist the school district with this donation,” said Robert Taylor, Kadlec director of information systems. “We have nearly 1,000 computers in operation and have a regular rotating schedule of changing them out.” The donated computers have an estimated value of about $3,000.
