And it is proving to be a boon to assist businesses to determine where to relocate or invest. Ken Nelson, the economic development director for Kennewick Wa Real Estate area is convinced that every business that has made the move to Kennewick has logged onto the Website since its launch in June 2004.

Over 100 commercial real estate properties are listed on the Prospector. The greatest advantage of this technology is that it includes Geographical Information System (GIS) mapping software which can be combined with other information, such as census data. A search of the Kennewick Wa Real Estate area using the Prospector can result in maps, aerial photographs, demographic data, summaries of neighborhoods, traffic counts and the location of water and sewer lines as well as those of roads and highways.
