Pasco WA Real Estate ~ Language Living in the Classroom

Robert Frost Elementary in Pasco WA Real Estate area is currently seeing fifth-graders actively engaging with the English language with their bodies and minds. The American Heroes Bugaloo is a fun filled lyrical and dance activity aimed at inspiring young learners to embrace their English studies.

This social science unit at the Pasco WA Real Estate area school is just one example of the five-day intensive study course for a score of teachers determined to aid students with their language and literacy development.

Guided Language acquisition Design (aka GLAD) Was initially developed in the early 1980s by two teachers in California for English as Second Language students. In today’s Pasco WA Real Estate area classrooms, as in many classrooms across the nation, it is recognized as being an effective activity for English –proficient students. And within the Tri-City area, the principles have been adopted with enthusiasm.

By building on prior knowledge, encouraging team collaboration and using a wealth of color, materials, rhymes and word charts has seen the students of Pasco WA Real Estate district delighting in their interaction with their lesson content; and discovering the joys of applying their new skills in their daily social lives.
