Pasco Wa Real Estate area is set to welcome an additional 4, 500 students over the next five years, according to school officials. It is anticipated that enrollments will rise up to 22, 411 students by 2016.
School Board members are currently brainstorming solutions for the management of the Pasco Wa Real Estate district’s excelling student growth. One alternative is the addition of portable classrooms; another is to modify elementary and middle schools parameters. There is also an ongoing evaluation of school sites to determine space availability and requirements.
A viable option may be to adjust class sizes, which would see the conversion of Pasco High School Annex to help with the reorganization of elementary schools. However, with all changes, there are pros and cons to each choice, as noted by the assistant superintendent for business and operations, Larry Peters.
Amazingly, enrollment figures for the Pasco Wa Real Estate district have increased by 3, 600 students since the year 2000; which is more than the population of some of the districts cities. Four new schools have been built in this time, supplemented by an additional 57 portable buildings.
The Board has created a committee comprised of local community members as well as school officials to determine attendance zones. It is expected that these zones will be in place for the Board to review in November 2007. Consider Pasco Wa Real Estate Today!
