Tri-City Area Shows Highest Percentage Growth Since 2000
March 27th, 2008
The Associated Press and Tri City Herald report that, “The Tri-City area has shown the highest percentage of growth of all of Washington’s metropolitan areas since 2000, adding more than 37,000 residents, the Census Bureau reported today.” Additionally reported, “The Tri-Cities metro area of Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco grew 19.4 percent in that time, to 228, 992 people, sixth-largest in the state. That rapid growth rate indicates the Tri-Cities area will likely soon suplant Yakima and Bremerton-Silverdale to become the fourth-largest metro area in Washington.”
I posted this in response to the many investors, transfers, and those considering a Tri City Washington relocation who express concerns over the area’s future. Call or email us today for more information about our community’s future.
