West Richland Wa Real Estate ~ Adopt a Tree ~ The West Richland Wa Real Estate area is currently running an Adopt a Tree Program for its residents to help with beautification of parks and recreational areas. Adopters are encouraged to donate the price of a tree to the City, and a member of staff then purchases the tree.

Collaboration between City Council and the Park Board has established pre-arranged planting sites; although residents are able to petition the Park Board or Council for an additional location, subject to approval. The West Richland Wa Real Estate Park Board and the City Council have several pre-approved planting sites for the City Parks. If there is another location requested it must be approved by the Park Board and City Council.

It will be City Council staff responsibility to plant the trees in designated West Richland Wa Real Estate park areas during the winter months. Of course, attrition is to be expected, and adopters need to be aware that the City of Richland is under no obligation to reimburse the adopter, or to replace the tree.

To commemorate the Adoption, and to acknowledge each resident’s contribution to the beautification and ecological health of West Richland Wa Real Estate area, Adopter’s will be given a letter with the date of planting, and details of the type of tree and its planting location.
